XtremeHomes is looking to fill one immediate position for a talented individual as a Project Architect with a focus on OffSite Built, sustainable and trend setting. Only full-time positions will be considered. Successful candidates must have a Bachelor of Architecture. A Masters degree is a strong plus. Candidate must have 5-8 years of professional experience and have demonstrable skills in design, construction documentation and client interface.
Residential, commercial and multi-family planning, design and construction documentation experience is required.
Excellent design, planning, project and client management, communication and organizational skills are required. Candidates should be out-going with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. The position with interface with members of our project management group.
Understanding of the IBC (International Building Coded) is a requirement. Candidates should have a good understanding of construction. Candidate must have a license to practice in California. Licenses in other states such as Oregon, Washington, Nevada Arizona and Utah is a plus.
Knowledge of green building practices and sustainable design is a requirements. LEED accreditation or Build-It-Green certification is an advantage.
AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel proficiency is a requirement. SketchUp and Photoshop skills are a must.
